Returning products that are not defective

Hey there! If you ever want to send something back our way, no sweat. You’ve got a whole week—7 days from the day your goodies landed at your place—to make up your mind. Just make sure the stuff hasn’t been used, it’s all complete, and hanging out in its original packaging. If it’s been more than a week since your package had its grand entrance, we’re afraid we can’t do refunds or swaps.

To start the return dance, hit us up online. Drop a line to info@springleaf.shop and attach a couple of pics of what’s headed back to us. Spill the beans on why you’re sending it back too.

Once you hit send, give us a bit of breathing room—72 hours to be exact. We’ll peek at what’s what and give you a shout to figure out the next steps.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE:

Hey there, awesome shopper! Let’s dive into some key info you’ll wanna keep in mind:

  • Return Shipping: When it comes to returning products that are doing their job well, you’re the captain of the ship for return shipping costs. We’re all about recommending a trackable shipping service with insurance – it’s like giving your package a superhero cape. You’ll be responsible for the return shipping. The mix: the initial delivery fee, and any handling extras. They’ll get cozy with your refund.
  • Return Shipping by Springleaf: If we’re doing the return shipping gig for you, there’s a bit of behind-the-scenes action. Think of it like a mixtape: there’s the delivery fee for the initial order, a collection fee (akin to the delivery charge in your area), plus any handling jazz that might apply. Shipping costs can’t join the refund party, though. If your refund dance card is stamped, the return shipping fee gets a deduction pass.
  • Sending Stuff Back: Sometimes, returning items depends on a wink from us. We’re like the bouncer at the return party.
  • Free Delivery Promos & Returns: If you scored free delivery on your order and decide to send it back, think of it like a cover charge. You’ll be responsible for the return shipping. The mix: the initial delivery fee, collection fee (matching your area’s delivery charge), and any handling extras. They’ll get cozy with your refund.
  • Exceptions: But wait, there’s more! Assemblies, partial assemblies, and bids farewell to original packaging – these are a no-go for returns. We reserve the right to give them the “thanks, but no thanks” treatment.
  • Packaging Protector: Sending items back? Guard ’em up! If packaging goes MIA and damages happen en route, extra charges might pop up like surprise guests at the party.
  • Assembled Items: Items that had a cozy assembly time can’t join the return caravan.
  • Quality Check & Refunds: Our eagle-eyed quality checkers need up to 3 working days to give things a once-over. Refunds are the cool kid that takes up to 7 working days to show up, plus an extra 5 working days to snuggle into your bank account.

Hope this helps make the return journey smoother than a well-baked cookie! 🍪

Returning products that are defective or damaged

Hello there, valued customer! Let’s chat about an important scenario:

Damage After Delivery: Sometimes, damage only makes itself known after your new treasure has landed on your doorstep. No worries – you’ve got a 48-hour window from the delivery time to let us know at Springleaf. In these cases, the fate of the product’s return or replacement is in our hands. We might ask for a peek at some images of the damage before we swing by for collection. Our mission? Swiftly tackle the issue of damaged items.

  • Starting a Return: To initiate the return journey, just shoot us an email at info@springleaf.shop. Snap a few pics of the items you’re looking to return or exchange and give us a heads-up on why you’re making the switch.
  • Our Side of the Story: Once your email flies our way, give us about 72 hours to roll up our sleeves and review. We’ll be in touch to hammer out the necessary steps.
  • Important Bits to Keep in Mind: If you spot damage after 48 hours, it’s within reason for us to think it might have happened post-delivery. If the damage pops up during customer assembly, Springleaf can’t take the blame, and returns or refunds won’t be on the menu. When swapping out defective items, we’re on the hook for collecting and delivering them. If, during our inspection, the product is found to be in shipshape condition, you might need to cover the transport costs. We could also slip in a handling/admin fee (starting at 5% or R70) for good measure. The product will journey back to you, much like it came to us.
  • Packaging Precaution: Speaking of returns, packaging matters. If the original packaging has taken its final bow, it’s up to you to secure your goods before sending them our way. Any damages due to insufficient packaging might lead to extra charges at our discretion.
  • Quality Check & Refunds: Our eagle-eyed inspectors might need up to 3 working days to give the green light. As for refunds, they usually set off on their journey within 7 working days and take an additional 5 to settle into your bank account.
  • Exchange Etiquette: Should an exchange be in the cards, we’ll head to the original delivery address unless you’ve given us a new one. Keep in mind, if the exchange address differs from the initial delivery spot, there might be an extra delivery fee to consider.
  • Keeping Us in the Loop: If your exchange address is going to be different, don’t forget to drop us a line. We’re here to make sure everything lands where it should.

We hope this covers the bases and makes your return experience as smooth as butter on toast! 🍞
